Re: **1st Tri Check-in**
QOTW-DH is starting to be really sweet. He gets to finally go to an ultrasound next week on Tuesday. He has missed all the past ones because he travels so much, so I hope all still looks good Tuesday.
I keep waking up in the middle of the night and cannot go back to sleep. Yesterday I woke up at 4am and just went into work early. Today it was 2:30 am...and i woke up with an appetite!
I can't believe I'm 11 weeks today already! Lately I've been worrying that LO may have stopped growing (partially because I stopped Endometrin last week and worry about the placenta taking over and partially b/c my OB's U/S machine was broken when I went for my 1st appt. so I haven't seen LO since RE released me weeks ago). Every once and a while I calm down when I feel abdominal cramping and realize he's still in there...plus all I do is sleep lately. I'm so glad I'm not working right now, I'd never make it through the afternoons without my daily nap! Anywhoo, I am telling myself to be strong and hold out for next Friday's NT Scan. I don't want to buy a doppler and drive myself nuts with it (and annoy baby).
QOTD: DH is trying his best to make sure I'm comfortable. He's been very understanding about my aversion to cooking and is more than happy to order out when necessary. I somehow managed to get him to set foot in a PBK last week when we were at the mall and he actually showed interest in bedroom sets! He was asking the salesguy for details about the cribs and sat in a glider! I was so proud of him! (He's normally terrified of babies and is constantly worrying he'll be a bad father; I think he'll be great).
QOTD: DH is being cautiously optimistic this time around. He is almost as scared as me. He doesn't want to get to excited yet. Although, I did see him checking out baby gear for bike riding.
TTC since 9/10 consult 1/12 All testing came back fine Diagnosed with Unexplained infertility -3 medicated IUI's All BFN IVF - ER 11/14 24R, 15M, 13F ET 11/19, BETA 11/28 BFFN --Next step FET in Jan ET scheduled for 1/24. Oops I listed my due date as 3/8/13 when it should obviously be 2014!
I have my second ultrasound today. And I've been feeling pretty awful as I described in my other post this morning.
DH is excited but I think he's being cautious until we hear the heartbeat. He told me he did some reading and that our chances of m/c go down dramatically once we hear the heartbeat. I'm so happy he's reading up on things! He's been understanding of my tiredness and disinterest in any food that's not bland. And he keeps telling me I look tiny even though I feel enormous from bloating and no real working out since March (when IVF started). He's a great hubby :-)
Me: 29 ovulatory disorder

QOTW: Hubby has been amazing through our entire 4 year journey TTC#2 journey and is just as supportive now. We've always had a very solid relationship, but 2IF has made us even close....my silver lining.
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
My husband has been great (although I wish he would vacuum the house for me). He is very sympathetic and likes that I am sleeping all the time. He is still very cautious about the entire pregnancy.
AFM, I'm feeling a bit less exhausted now that I'm off PIO, endometrin and vivelle. Plus I started having a cup of coffee in the morning - which has made me feel more alive. Next appt is the 30th - both the first tri screen and my monthly OB appt.

I'm 11 weeks and 3 days today EDC 2/4/14 with a singleton! Will find out sex hopefully next week, as we did the MaterniT21 testing last week.
My DH Jim has been wonderful, very supportive and sweet during these first weeks. He's a teacher and is taking a continuing ed class this summer, but met me Mon for the first OB appt and NT u/s.
Hope everyone is doing well!!

Everything is going good here. This week I have been listening to baby's heartbeat on the doppler almost everyday. I'm a little obsessed. We have our NT Scan on Wednesday next week and I'm so excited to see baby again!! We also have about 4 weeks until we find out the sex!
QOTW: DH has been really sweet. He always makes sure I'm comfortable and have whatever I need. He had a small stress out when he realized how much childcare is going to cost us, so he is kind of putting us on a financial diet from now on, but I guess that has to be done anyway.
After almost 2 years of TTC and fertility treatments we got a surprise BFP in May 2013
The same thing is happening to me! I get up to pee - and it's almost always between 2:30 to 3am. And then I just lay there in bed and don't fall back asleep until right before my alarm goes off....ugh!

Hi All- I am still super new and treading very lightly in the PAIF world, but I am so excited to finally be here! My siggy refuses to update, but based on the start of my last cycle, I am 4w5d today. Luckily, I'm just feeling a little tired and have a backache so far
QOTD- Well, Dh broke his leg two days into our cycle, so he is in a cast which is creating a bit of tension lol. He can't carry anything so everything falls on me right now. I take care of all the cooking/cleaning type house chores anyway, but he generally does the outside work (we have a pool and a small flock of backyard chickens) and takes out the garbage. Since he can't do those things, or even bring himself a glass of water into the living room, I am definitely a little on edge sometimes! But, he is thrilled that I am finally pregnant and swears that I am emitting some sort of super hot pheremone, lol.

Thanks again for doing this!!!
QOTW: I'm glad this is the question!!!! He was in shock the first few weeks and went into mad crazy man mode tearing apart the house to "clean out the clutter and renovate". Several weeks later he has moved on to obsessing about other things like how we are going to pay for 2 college tuitions. He's not too good at focusing on the little day to day things and during our last u/s ended up needing a xanax from looking at them. He's such a worrier and I know that when they get here, he'll be fine. But the build up is driving him batty. He is great with doing all the things I can't (laundry in the basement, moving things around, vacuuming, etc...) but some days I'd just like him to come home and say, Hey honey, how are you feeling today? Instead of looking at me like I am crazy when I start crying for no reason. It's a learning process for us both I guess. The other day I said, I'd like to go walk around Babies R Us just to get an idea of what we'll need and his response was "I'm not ready for that yet". Which then made me frustrated because he's totally ready to clean out our spare room to make room for them, but not able to look at products to buy? I know men think differently but boy can it be frustrating as I try to bite my tongue!!!!! Sorry for the rant.
Hey ladies!!!! I'm 9wks today and plan on starting my chalkboard bump updates/pics for my blog today !! I graduated from my RE last week and have my first OB appt 7/29!! I can't wait!!!
QOTD: DH has been really supportive through this entire process. We've been through so much and he is just really excited that I'm finally going to be a Mom! We has two children from a previous marriage so the pregnancy thing is not new to him.
We have an ultrasound with RE Tuesday. I am just so nervous that there won't be anything/something will be wrong. Just taking it one day at a time though. Sore breasts, insomnia, crazy constipation, and some cramps so far.
Hi ladies!
I'm 8w4d today. My first OB appointment was on Wednesday, and it could not have gone better. My nausea is easing up a little bit, but it's being replaced by some crazy headaches. Luckily, OB says it's okay to start drinking coffee or even taking an excedrin. I tried a cup of half-caff this morning, and it was heaven!
QOTW: MH is so amazingly supportive and happy about this pregnancy. Even throughout IVF he was so good about doing my injections and helping me through the rough times. He has been taking very good care of me, and doing most of the cooking and housework. He comes to all my appointments, and he loves to talk to the baby like I'm not there. It's pretty hilarious.

Hi ladies
My EDD is March 5th & there is one little bean onboard.
QOTW: DH has been a lifesaver, he is picking up the slack around the house. He is also benefiting from the fact that the only thing I seem to be able to stomach right now is fast food, I am usually a healthy eater so DH is going wild with this
DH is wonderful, I am very blessed.
Everything is going great! Can't believe I'm about 9.5 weeks already! Feeling decent for the most part. Just slight nausea and food aversions. No vomiting. Slightly more tired than normal, sore boobs, etc.
DH has been awesome! Even cuter than I imagined! He kisses my belly often and always asks how we are doing. And he gets excited about seeing the heartbeat, LO wiggling around in the ultrasound, etc. Love it!
Me: 33, DH: 35, DX: PCOS & MFI (low everything)
