Pack n play?

Is there a pack n play that you love and have used with your baby when they were infants? My DS is 20 months old and only used a hand me down graco a handful of times and while on vacation.

Baby 2 will be born end of Nov and since bedrooms are upstairs, we will need to have a pack n play downstairs. With my son we lived in a single story apt so he just napped in his crib.

Is there one You can recommend? I have been looking at an InGenuity one sold at Target and the Graco travel lite which is a bit smaller than normal PnP? Thanks!

Re: Pack n play?

  • We have a hand me down Graco that we like. We also have a two story house with the bedrooms upstairs. It stayed in our room for the first two weeks and DS slept there at night. Then when DS moved into his room at night, I moved the PnP downstairs. He rarely napped in it but I loved having the changing table attachment down there so I had a changing area set up and didn't have to haul him upstairs for every diaper. As far as features, we used the bassinet and changing table but did not use the vibrate thing or music player or canopy thing. Ours didn't have a mobile but DS was not big in to mobiles so I doubt we would have used it either.

  • Good to know, thank you!
  • I have two different hand me down pack N plays. they both work the same. honestly after about two weeks and my PP bleeding stopped, i walked my butt up the stairs to put LO in the crib to help loose the weight. If i was too tired i just put LO on the floor on the playmat.
  • The Travel Lite is not smaller only lighter, BTW. We have a Graco and a Chicco at my inlaws and both work great. I recommend using the MamaDoo Kids mattress topper for much needed extra comfort and support. It folds in 3 and has the perfect firmness. Good luck!
  • I loved my Chicco rattania pack and play. The little mobile that came with was so nice. It offered a light and a soothing noises. My sister had a Chicco don't know the model but it vibrated and had a remote   I recommend my Chicco all the time.
