Cavity

I took my LO to the dentist since I thought he had a cavity. It was indeed. He got novacane and had it filled. I felt so much pressure to do it immediately at the same visit. Has anyone's LO had a cavity? Were there any side effects after getting it filled like a fever, irritable, etc? My LO is 15 months old.

We just took our LO to the dentist and he did not have any cavities but he did have plaque that the dentist removed with the scrapey thing.

I don't have any feedback on your questions since we haven't been through this before, but I do think you did the right thing. I have read about kids having multiple cavities and then having to undergo general anesthesia to take care of that. So I would think a shot of novacane for 1 cavity is better than a general for 5 cavities. KWIM?

Wow...you poor thing. I cannot imagine that already having to go through this grown up stuff! My neighbor is a child dentist and he has been on top of me for brushing.

Im going to schedule his appt ASAP! Geez...thanks for posting!
