I have a looong list of boy names but I'm not in love with any of them. I have so many girl names that I just adore and I wish I could feel the same way about boy names. So if you have any slightly off beat names that I may not be thinking of, please suggest! I'm anti-nickname so I'd like to name my child the name we will call them.
DD is Violet Emmeline.
Top favorites are:
Leo (love it, but doesn't mesh with my last name very well)
Fletcher (not a fan favorite on this board but I really like it)
Theodore (afraid of nicknames and my H doesn't 100% love)
Felix (DH doesn't love but can potentially be convinced)
And my front runner when I had #1 was Henry but it's gotten farrrrr too popular in my circle, unfortunately.
And others on the list: Grant, Flynn or Finn, Elliot (don't love it with Violet), Benjamin (nickname-able), Arthur, Spencer, Samuel
Thanks in advance! I look forward to your ideas
Re: Suggest a boy name based on my list
Yea, I agree. It's so hard to find a name with no obvious nicknames!

Love a lot on your list.
How about Silas, Simon, Oliver, August?
D 2.20.2011 & Z 7.16.2013
It's all nns, I can see Fletch too but I felt like I could hold out with Fletcher a bit longer because it doesn't have any true built in nns.
I loveee Silas and it should be on my list! But I feel like it's sort of rhymey with Violet, no?
Simon is another favorite but my last name is two syllables and ends in "in" and I feel like two syllable names like Simon don't work. Ugh, so difficult!
Jack, Elias, Ross, Anton, Milo, Tanner
Love Theodore, Henry, Elliot, Grant and Samuel from your list.
