To try for our last baby or to not?!

I have 3.  Almost 8, 5 & my youngest turned 4 in May.  So if we were to have another, they'd be about 5-5 1/2 yrs apart (if we TTC when I want to).  My last 2 kids are 14 mos apart & for the first 3 yrs or so, it was pretty crazy so I had no intentions of ever trying for another at that time....I should've thought a little bit more about it because now here we are & as much as I would love to, I'm not sure I would 100% want to go back to all that....ugh, decisions.....if you had your kids far apart in age, how did it turn out?  All 3 of my kids would be school aged by the time this baby came.

My first and second are eight years apart. It was really nice to have the help, and to have alone time with DD2 while DD1 was at school. DD2 will be almost 3 when 3.0 arrives. Financially, it's nice to have the separation. Especially when college comes

The fact that the 3 oldest would be school age when 4.0 comes is the smartest idea. Theyre old enough to help, you get alone time with the babe and as a PP said, you wont be paying for college at all the same time. 

 While we cant make the decision for you, I would say go for it

If you can afford it I say do for it!! I have two older brothers. One is three years older and the other is nine years older. It worked out fine in our family. I wasn't close to my oldest brother till I was about 18, but now we are the closest!

We are TTC a third right now. DD is 3 and DS just turned 2. They're 15 months apart. I am ready now. BAD baby fever! Our thinking is DD and DS are already so close that if we wait too long, 3rd would always feel left out and not have a friend. If we wait too much longer I would definitely want four with the last 2 being close together.
