Pregnant after IF

Feeling Faint or Passing Out Normal?

Hi ladies

The last 3 or 4 mornings at the same time during my get ready for work routine I've felt as if I'm going to pass out and had to lay down for a bit. I do have issues with this on occasion when I'm not pregnant but it usually involves heat or working out strenuously and being a little off on my nutrition. I believe it has to do with my blood sugar and insulin resistance. Since it doesn't happen often I've never really been concerned. However, now 5w2d pregnant my infertility brain scares me. Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you having ravenous hunger? I noticed I was already requiring more food recently. I have felt a little dizzy at times, too. Would drinking some oj help?

I have been pretty hungry and come to think of it these last three nights I decided not to get up and eat a snack when I woke up hungry. For at least a week before that I'd been waking up starving every night and eating a snack. Maybe I shouldn't fight it. I guess I'm a little worried about starting to gain weight too early. So maybe I should embrace the hunger instead of fight it lol.

As for juice I try and stay away bc it does have so much sugar. But maybe I'll keep some on handto bring my blood sugar back up in the morning.

  • This happens to me after a hot shower and it has to do with blood flow increasing.

Same here - this has been happening to me every time I take a hot shower. I have to plan time to lay down afterwards!

I get dizzy when I am hot or when I am standing a lot- so showers make me very dizzy. It helps to eat in the morning first thing when I wake up, and then take a shower and keep snacking as I get ready. I also have been showering at night if I can instead, because it doesn't seem to make me as dizzy and I can sit down right after instead of having to get dressed, put on makeup, and go to work.

I also worry about having too much sugar, but I have found that sometimes I really need some fast carbs since I've been pregnant. I can eat tons of protein and fiber and still feel off until I get some juice in me.
