------------------------------------------------

Congratulations to sdtchica13 who had delivered son Gavin Lucas last Thursday!!! He weighed 8lbs. 5oz. and was 20 inches long!

Last week Updates:

PhillyGal34: has MFM appt set for July 23-I hope you get your questions answered and that you are given the green light to TTC next summer!

MinaE01: Just started cycle #3 for TTC-hope you get your BFP soon, hang in there! Took us a little bit longer the second time too, but very much worth the wait ;-)

L&R70707: still feels contractions, but nothing close together. You're doing great!

CurlingRocks: LO measuring 3lbs. 7oz. which is right on track! Two more MFM visits left!

adamnkel: taking it easy and went back to work; also celebrated DD1's 2nd birthday! How was doc appt on Monday?

vsalt31: started P17 shots and no side effects so far. Yay! Also, cervix is 4cm at 16 weeks and monitoring will every other week will start.

Bruton8288:  HB of LO in the 150's and hasn't gained much weight; has been experiencing chronic hip and back pains and was offered bed rest-she declined, but promised OB she would call if they got worse. I hope you are feeling better! Last US scheduled for 7/24 and CS scheduled for 9/23; OB said she would do a VBAC if she was on call

MrsLaurenandDan: very excited to have US on the 29th; will meet with the midwife the Monday before who thinks she's a good HBAC candidate and says she doesn't think I am at high risk for another preemie!

Bookywormone: partial previa has resolved and allowed to go back to normal activities as long as she takes it easy! Anatomy scan revealed a healthy baby girl! Yay!

Still here. No major updates from last week.

But, I've been wanting to do the math on how many Mommies again listed in this thread went full term with baby 2 Well, it's 65.2 percent went full term. I think that stay is pretty hopeful makes me optimistic about this baby! Just thought that I would share.

Well, I had my regular check up yesterday and requested a cervical check because I just had a feeling that things were changing.  I'm about 1.5cm dilated and 50% effaced.  Without a history of PTL I probably wouldn't think twice about it....or even if I wasn't contracting on a daily basis, but it makes me pretty nervous.  My OB wasn't too concerned, but we are moving to weekly appts now rather than the usual 36 weeks.   If I can make it until next Thursday (which will be the gestation I was admitted with DS) with little to no change I will feel better....33w3days now.

We had a great weekend celebrating my DD1's 2nd bday. My family was here visiting and everyone but my niece who is 14 left on Sunday. She is here until this coming sunday and has been a huge help with DD and has even been cleaning for me (well I offered her $20 to clean).

My dr appointment on monday went well. Ill be 33 weeks on Saturday.  My dr said everything looked good and that dd's estimated weight is 4lb 11 oz which is already a pound bigger then dd was when she was born at 35 weeks. My next appointment is next friday the 26th. It will be the same time that I was diagnosed with pre e last time so I will be very happy if everything is still ok at that point.

    Hello everyone!

I am new to the bored and I would like to introduce myself. I am a mother to a wonderful 23 week 6 day preemie girl who just turned 1 yesterday (8 months corrected)! She was 1 pound 3 ounces and 11 inches long at birth, today she is 17 pounds 8 ounces and 29 inches long.

My husband and have decided that in August we are going to start TTC again. We are a bit nervous and scared because she was born early do to placental abruption. We also took fertility medication (clomid) to get pregnant because I have PCOS.

I see a lot of success on her making it close to term and term. Makes me feel confident in TTC #2.

    Thank you!

Hi! I lurk on here sometimes and want to join in. We're planning on TTC-ing this September. I just got my first period today after coming off bc pills a month ago, so I'm hoping my cycle goes back to normal as I used to be regular like clockwork! I am temping right now just to see what my cycles are like.

I have a preemie born at 32 weeks due to asymmetrical IUGR which was caused by velementous cord insertion. He's now 15 months (13 months adjusted) and still on the smaller side, but doing pretty well overall!

31 weeks!nbsp; Anxiously awaiting my PTL milestone to pass on Saturday...I had a little cramping last night that went away, but I called in today just to be safe waiting on a call back from nurse, since OB is not in today.nbsp; I'm so paranoid with my PTL milestone so close.nbsp; Baby is kicking away, which is reassuring. ETA: nurse called back.nbsp; She said it's probably just dehydration and heat.nbsp; So I'm in the AC until the heat breaks drinking my water.nbsp; :

I will add you to the list! Good luck with TTC journey! Glad to hear your preemie is doing well.

Great job to all you pregnant mamas!'n and congrats to the newly pregnant! Alpha you need to go a day late. 2/25 is the best birthday IMO :)

I met with my dr today. She said that its a total crapshoot if I get pre e again. Ill be monitored more often and ill check my bp at home between visits and I'll pray for the best.

Talking to dh about when we will try again. I planned on when ds was 2. Dh wants to try now when he's almost 14 months. Time to reach a compromise!!
