I totally get what you are saying.... It is my guilty pleasure. I think it is that train wreck thought, you know so crazy that it is impossible to look away. I honesty don't know why I watch it. LOL, one of life's great mysteries.

The new season looks like way too much drama. I can't.

 

My guilty pleasure lately has been Drunk History. DH & I watch it and laugh so hard.

I'm not watching because I honestly don't watch much tv since having DD but I watched the fist season religiously. I'm a school counselor and these are the girls that come to my office. I'm intrigued by their lives. But I'll be honest, none of my students have as much drama as the ones on the show.

It actually shows a lot of the reality of teen parenting, the struggles, the angst, the tough decisions.

Teen pregnancy has gone down nationwide since the show started airing.

 This is what my cousin always says. I think it was the word choice "It looks good." that was unnerving. But I know what she meant.  

Yeah, bad choice of words on my part, more like it looks super dramatic and will make me thankful for my life no matter how crappy or crazy it gets.... Admittedly, I fell asleep while trying to post the OP.  =(

Agree. I mean look at the cast of Teen Mom 1&2. We have a porn star, a rageaholic who is in prison, a drug addict who has been in and out of jail, and all of the general baby-daddy drama and misery. It's not like they paint a pretty picture where everyone lives happily ever after.

I've seen episodes before. I think there are a lot of lessons the show can impart about how it's not easy to be a teen mom. I was interested in their stories, in addition to the dose of drama.
