Odd question

So.....

I graduated high school 7 years ago. When I was a senior there was a German foreign exchange student who I was friends with, and I always thought he was pretty cute. He was really nice and super funny. He went back to Germany but we continued to talk via Facebook and email on and off. Fast forward to now and we still talk... like daily, and have since about last December. We both have an app thing that's basically like texting and I downloaded it specifically to talk to him. Anyway, he's coming to America in November and is going to Vegas for a few days while he's here. He invited me to go hang out with him. Am I nuts if I actually go? He has a friend going with him, and I would bring a friend with me. Different hotel rooms. So it's not like it would just be us two, but I don't know if it's normal or not that I would want to go. Keep in mind this is the first attempt at any sort of male associated anything that I've done since Ks dad and I separated, so I could just be over paranoid.

I wouldn't think it's weird, but I tend to have more male friends than female ones. As long as you go with someone else, I don't think it'll be bad. You can always just consider it a vacation with a friend and you're just gtg with someone while you're there. Don't plan on spending every moment with him, just meeting back up with him. I don't think I'm making much sense, so I'll stop.

im just popping into this board to see what was going on...so yeah...um GOOO like dont walk but run! who knows what could come of it...but it should be pretty fun enjoy yourself and take this mini vacation!

I don't know your situation so this is just MHO, as long as your ex isn't vindictive I say go and have a good time.  Bring a friend, gamble, have a few drinks, learn German, and then come back and tell us all the details.
