NBR: OKAY my biggest fear

just happened. A bug got stuck in my ear and I freeeeeeeeeeeeaked out. Really, biggest fear of all time. When I was a child, I slept with cotton balls in my ears. I know it's irrational, but my God, that was terrifying. Thank God for my friend who also happens to be a doctor and my neighbor. She saved my sanity. I could just hear it in there. Ahhhhhhh.

I was terrified of this as a kid as well! I watched a medical show where someone had a bug in their ear and they were freaking out because it had gone so deep it was hurting them. I guess it traumatized me because I was scared of this for years!

Omg! I had it happen to me one time as a kid and it was horrible. I was so scared it was going to go into my brain or something. And because of the traumatizing experience of getting the bug out, I just about punched anyone who messed with my ears for all the way up until a few years ago. I still freak out if a bug flies anywhere near my ears. You are not alone in your irrationalness.

Ah. That gives me the heeby jeebys!! When I was younger, I had a friend that a bug flew in her eye and for stuck to her contact. You could see it but her eye became so dry the contact was stuck! We were home alone and I still remember holding her eye open under the sink to try and get it off. Yuck, I get the chills just thinking about it!
