Waiting for the right time....

DH and I have been married for almost three years now and I have been working hard to get over my fears about being a Mom. It's a big deal! Just this passed week, it finally clicked: I'm ready... I'm really, officially ready. 

 For other reasons though, my hubby and I are going to wait for next spring to start trying. I only recently got a full time job after finishing grad school, so I'd love to have a year under my belt before starting. So now I'll just be stalking the boards... living vicariously through you other ladies!! Also, I have an IUD in, so there won't really be any "whoopsies" or any "not NOT trying..." I just wanted to share my excitement over this emotional milestone :-D

Congrats on finally knowing you're ready! I'm in a similar boat, I can't wait but DH and I just got married and we know that we will appreciate waiting and enjoying the "just us" time, and we're both fairly fresh out of grad school (DH graduated in December, I graduated in May) so we would like to save up some. So here I am, lurking boards and living vicariously through other mamas haha!

Congrats on graduating! I'm glad to see someone else in the same boat... such a tough thing being an adult, delaying your 'wants' until it's an appropriate time. Oh well...

We're in a similar situation married 4 years, totally babies on the brain but due to life situations we're waiting til early spring to TTC. Also with BOTB I also obsess about all thing baby. My ovaries/hormones are dictating things now, I have no control.

I see you both are waiting for Spring.... we're starting in the spring so if we conceive right away, the baby'll be born in late January aka AWAY FROM CHRISTMAS! Then we have lots of months to keep trying. I know you can't control that, and the baby may come early, but I'm late January and even at a month after Christmas I still got combo gifts all the time.... it's dumb but it seemed like a good a time as any to start.
