Cloth Diapering

Bg freetimes

For bumgenius freetimes can I use liquid tide instead of the powder?

Re: Bg freetimes

  • I would say no. They're not any different than any other cloth diapers.

Hmm well for the best bottoms they say to use tide liquid so I was hoping to wash everything together.

    Who is "they"?

On the BB website it says they've tested Tide Original and it works well for their diapers. But I would assume the powder version, not liquid. You could always call to be sure.

Yes I called. Best bottoms said to use liquid tide. Guess ill call back and ask if powder is okay. I would think it would be a pain to wash my freetimes separately from the best bottoms.

Hmm... All the research I did online said that you need to use powdered detergent for cloth diapers and that liquid can cause repelling. I use Tide powder for all of my diapers.
