We got one and used it for one night when she came home from the NICU, then decided it wasn't worth it. I'm sure it gets easier, but it seemed like too much of a pain because we had to turn it off and on for each diaper change and it beeps pretty loudly at those times. We had enough beeping in the NICU and didn't need any more! She was a champ at breathing anyway during her last month in the NICU so I didn't feel the need.
I bought two when my preemies came home just to ease our minds. We only ended up using one on my daughter who had a choking issue. We ended up getting an apnea monitor so then we took the Snuza off. It helped to ease our minds a little bit when we brought them home, but it wasn't necessarily a must have purchase. If you end up wanting one message me and we can work something out. One of our Snuza's is brand new/never used.
I used one and it gave me such peace of mind! Would definitely use it again. We stopped using it once he started moving a lot in his crib and it was coming off and giving false alarms, but I used it for a good 3-4 months. I figured once he was moving around anyway his risk for SIDS was lowered a great deal.
Loved my Snuza! We used it for a good 5 months, and it gave me such piece of mind. One he got wigglier, we got some false alarms and stopped using it. I would highly recommend it!
