Multiples

I'm a little confused

I see some abbreviations on the posts and most of them I get, and if I don't I try to look it up, but I see one occurring very often and it's not on the "list" of abbreviations.  I feel like an idiot for asking, so please be kind.....What the heck does MFM mean?  I've gathered it's a doctors appointment or clinic appointment, but am at a loss as to the actual meaning.

Thanks for your help.  I feel dumb for asking, but wanted to understand exactly what people are saying.  :)

Ohhh!  Ok thank you so much for the reply!  I really appreciate it.  I kept thinking Male Female....just couldn't get it figured out.  Again, thanks for the info!

High risk OB is separate from an MFM.  MFMs are also sometimes referred to as peris or perinatologists.
