Hi ladies-
I recently bought a used crib bedding set. It is so cute, and the lady I bought it from was super nice. The only problem I'm having is, she must have doused the whole thing in massive amounts of highly scented fabric softener (like in the washer AND dryer). I am really sensitive to scents and make my own laundry soap. I have now washed this bedding five times, using my laundry soap, lots of vinegar, and baking soda. It still very strongly smells of softener. Any ideas on how to get rid of this other than continuing to wash it over and over?
Thank you!!
Re: Any ideas to get fabric softener out?
The other option maybe to just leave it somewhere, like the garage, just hanging for a few days to air out.
I would normally recommend vinegar, have your tried soaking it in pure vinegar?
Also what about sard wonder soap?
