Dairy elimination

My ds2 has had very bad mucous in his poop for a long time he's three months on the 21st. I started a dairy elimination on the 1 st of July and we have been doing better. Today he had been very fussy, gassy and his poop went back to green. I found out the cake I ate at my sister in laws baby shower had milk and I am so mad at myself! I am new at this so I didn't even think about it. Do i completely reset now? Am I starting from square one again?
