DD will be 4 months old this Friday and we are gearing up to transition her to the crib in her own room. Up until now she has been in the pnp in our room. She has never fully slept thought the night, waking at least twice I assume to nurse. She goes to bed between 7730 and I can put her down drowsy or awake of she hasn't fallen asleep nursing.
My issue is that even though I nurse her twice a night she more often than not wakes around another 23 times minimum. I am guilty for just popping a pacifier in her mouth and she drifts right off back to sleep. It will suck to do this when she's down the hall! I am really hoping maybe I am just responding too quickly and she'll go back to sleep on her own she doesn't wake up crying but fear it would escalate to a full wake up and then I'll be nursing her back to sleep every 2 hrs! I also usually bring her into bed around 56 if she wakes to ensure she sleeps until 7.
We do run a noisy ac unit works as white noise too and will be putting blackout curtains up in her room to help with the transition.
I don't think it's related to the 4 month wakeful as she has always done this. Just wondering if any of you ladies have a similar experience or have any tips to share. I need you to help me be brave!

This is pretty much the reason we want to move her to the crib. DH nudges me everytime she starts "talking" and even if he didn't she still keeps me up. I have let her just talk away and sometimes it escalates to crying and others she's gone back to sleep but I am up the entire timing waiting to know what she'll do!
