Sibling allergies

 I your first had serveral p allergies and intolerance, did your second?  We are getting ready to start DS on solids, and I am really nervous.

In my kids' case, yes.

Our allergist said there is a higher rate of siblings having food allergies if one does but in our case only 1 out of our 3 DD has any allergies.

With both of my children yes, and DS has more allergies than DD did.

For us, no.  Only our first has food allergies. She started w excema at 3 months. So when son came along and he didn't have any excema or other problems I started to become hopeful that he wouldn't have the allergies and I was right. 

 

Did your first have symptoms before solid food?
