Hey ladies, I was wondering how far along you were when you started feeling movement? I swear I feel it but my SIL insists im crazy grr. This is my first pregnancy as well!
Are you very thin?? somebody said to me today that the reason some people feel baby early is because theyre quite thin. i think I just started feeling something on my left side 2 days ago and it's not gas! Ill be 15 wks tomorrow.

It really varies from person to person and depends on the position of your LO, placenta, and your body. I did not feel movements with DD until 16 weeks. Some women do not feel movement until 20 weeks or later.
I usually start feeling kicks around 17 weeks. I can see it possibly making a difference if someone is extremely thin (and maybe lying on their stomach) but I do tend to not believe it when someone claims to feel kicks at something like 11-13 weeks (which I've seen a few people claim). Everyone's different, however.
It really does vary person to person and pregnancy to pregnancy. With DS I didn't feel movement until I was past 20 weeks. With this baby I have just started feeling a few bubble pops and flutters sporadically for the past week or so and I am 15 weeks.
Last time I felt movement around 15 weeks. This time I'm unsure if I felt it. I have more belly fat/flab from DS's pg so I think it's not as sensitive. Plus I'm so busy with DS I don't relax and be quiet often enough.
I am thin, I'm 5'3 and weigh in at 106. I have a very athletic build, but I only feel it in the morning, literally right before I have to pee. TMI? well anyway, I could just be imagining it too
