Tears in Heaven is a given. They played it at one of mymy best friend's funeral when I was 12, then to make matters worse i read the backstory a while ago...yeesh.
My kind of weird one is What's Up by 4 Non Blondes. Something about the lyrics and how earnestly she sings them...gets me every time.

Tears in Heaven was played at my sister's funeral too. Now that I'm older and now the background... yikes. I just shut off the radio when that one comes on now.
Now I'm just torturing myself watching all these music videos. That Allison Krauss one is really sad. And I never want my kids to wish they had a different life because of me.
I don't have abuse in my past, but I bawl like a baby when I listen to the song while watching the video for Independence Day by Martina McBride.
Concrete Angel is another tealjerker from her
Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll
pretty much just about any sad country song...
The first time I watched the music video for Concrete Angel I was a teenager and I remember sitting in my living room thinking "That didn't just happen". I cried like crazy. Country songs can always do it.
Fix You - Coldplay. I was first out when my dog was dying of cancer. He was a really special dog. Getting teary typing this.
"Tears stream down your faceWhen you lose something you cannot replace..."
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...
"It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" - A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

Ain't that the truth? How're you feeling? I miss you on TTGP!
Hey! I miss TTGP too and always forget until Wednesday to post in the grad post! To be honest, I feel like crap all the way around. But, I'm close to second tri and am hoping with the new trimester comes energy and a better relationship with food! It will all be worth it in the end! I hope you join over on the 1st tri board soon!

Hope you feel better soon! We're on hold until next month due to job switching. Blegh. Lol
I remembered that you were on hold for a while but thought maybe you were back on because of the FF ticker. Good luck!
Sissy's Song by Alan Jackson. It's kind of one of the saddest songs in the world and makes me miss everyone all at once.
Come to Jesus and In the Garden. They're hymns that randomly get sung at church and I get up and leave during service. My MiL and her two sisters sang In the Garden at my mom's funeral. One of his aunts solo'd Come to Jesus and it was the most haunting and beautiful thing I've ever heard. Those two songs were the only thing that I remember from my Ativan haze.
That Sissy's Song is quite sad. And after watching that one I had to watch "Remember When" which we played at our wedding. It means a lot of different things now to me 7 years later than it did on our wedding day.
Fix You Coldplay. nbsp;I was first out when my dog was dying of cancer. nbsp;He was a really special dog. nbsp;Getting teary typing this. nbsp;"Tears stream down your faceWhen you lose something you cannot replace..."
Whiskey Lullaby by Brad paisley- my ex husband told me he felt like this after I divorced him even though it was him that caused the divorce (cheating, lying, verbal abuse) I no longer love my ex husband (or even like him half the time) but the song reminds me of the sorrows I went through and the good times we did have and our daughter and all of that.
Oh add another cry baby to "Fix You". But mostly because that song was used for Earth Hour promotions and I get all swept up in that. www.earthhour.org
I'm a fairly new Christian. If I even so much as think of the song "How Deep The Fathers Love for Us" I will at least get teary eyed. If it plays in church, I will bawl.
"Remember When" will make me cry. I believe it came out in 2003 when DH and I got back together. We were still teens. Id hoped that would be us one day.

Another Tears in Heaven.

"Tears stream down your faceWhen you lose something you cannot replace..."I love this song. It is unbearably sad though.

::sniffles::
It's actually Carrie Underwood. Beautiful song!
I don't cry, but I tear up at the Star Spangled Banner if it's sung beautifully.
I also cry at Butterfly Kisses, esp now that I have Dd.
"Now I am a grown man, with a child of my own. And I swear I'm not gonna let him know the pain that I've known."
"in the living years" by mike and the mechanics. i can't even think of it without getting weepy.
"at last i see the light" from the movie tangled. a little girl from my MOPS group passed away and they played this at her funeral.
"i'll stand by you" by the pretenders and "landslide" by stevie nicks.
also, non-song related; no matter how many times i read where the wild things are, i still get all teary-eyed.
"Remember When" will make me cry. I believe it came out in 2003 when DH and I got back together. We were still teens. Id hoped that would be us one day.
"Novemember Rain" by Guns N Roses.
There's a million more, I'm sure. I'm a cry baby.
One more day- Diamond Rio. This was played at my brothers funeral.
Who you'd be today- Kenny Chesney. This reminds me of my brother.
