Cannula users

My baby has a dark gift for ripping his cannula off his face. Was there a particular type of sticker, tape, etc that worked for you? I've tried all sorts of the tape they gave us but he will not be denied.

DS had a cannula in the NICU and he was notorious for ripping everything out! Including his feeding tube! We had to put mittens on his hands, there are onesies that have the sleeves that can fold over his hands! Those are wonderful!! I've seen them in packs at Target

Thanks for the ideas! He hates mittens so much but I'm guess he hates not breathing more. Mittens it is.

Also I should add that before we used the onesies with the fold over sleeves, DS would rip off mittens so we had to tape them to whatever long sleeve onesie he was wearing!!

Duoderm works best for us.
