XP: Baby monitor recs

Baby monitor recs

We just moved into our new house and realized that we need a baby monitor.  DH started to research and supposedly different monitors can interfere with WiFi and others and of course he got worried.  (He works from home and our wireless cannot be interrupted.)

So I know some of you have been using monitors - which ones do you have and do you like it?  Does your house have wireless internet and does it affect it?

 TIA!

  • We love our Phillips Avent monitor. It isn't video though...not sure if that is something you want with a monitor.  But ours has a really good range, has an adjustable sensitivity function, and a talk function. My hubby also works from home and needs his strong wifi connection as well. The monitor has never once interfered with our wifi.

  • We have an Angel Care. We've used it from day one with no problems at all.

  • We have a cheap audio monitor, no trouble with the wireless.  And we leave it on most of the time.

This. We never turn it off and have no problems. I got it from a garage sale, but when I looked it up online it retailed for about $25 -30. We also live in a townhome and have had no issue with picking up or interfering with neighbors phones, monitors, wifi, etc.

Sept 2013 started TTC#2 (never got PP period so hoping for the first egg to drop)

    This for us too.

  • We love our Motorola video monitor. We've never noticed it interfering with our wifi, and we use wifi a lot.
