In the DR post below you mentioned that your friend recommended core exercises other than crunches to help close the gap.  Do you know specifically what exercises?  I had a 2-3 finger gap after my twins, not sure what it is now (too terrified to find out) and I'm scared to do anything to make it worse, but that also means I'm not really doing much to make it better.

  • Hi! She mostly recommended plank-type exercises to help rebuild the core. I often rest on my elbows, stretch my legs out behind me and push up on my toes. Another one is, I'll get down on all fours, then stretch out my left arm in front and right leg behind me, then alternate arms and legs. I'm sure there's more; I'll ask her the next time I see her. HTH!

  • Thanks so much.  I just feel so lost on what to do with my core.
