Whoo Hoo!  10 weeks in.  Thought I could wait until 2nd tri to buy bigger clothes, but I can't button things and the boobs are out of control already.  Found a local consignment shop on craigslist.  Went in and she had tons of clothing with tags still on them!  $80 dollars and two full bags.  Definitely going back with lil one 'cause the clothes were like $1.50 for the wee ones!!

I am a huge fan of consignment shopping! I've been hitting up Goodwill every week. Just found the perfect Christmas dress by Janie and Jack for only a dollar seventeen! It's brand new. I can't wait to dress her up for Christmas portraits. I found my maternity jeans and shorts there too for six bucks each. Love finding deals!!

I too am super thrifty and love a good bargain.  We needed a new changing table/dresser for the new baby and I found an awesome one on Craigslist for $75 and it's a Bassett, all wood and heavy as heck.  A great piece of furniture.  All I had to do was refinish it (which I enjoy doing). 

We also have a local kids consignment shop where I have picked up odds and ends for my daughter.  I got one of those little tykes cars (red bottom/yellow roof) for $10.00. 

I am all about bargain shopping.  Happy Hunting

Me, too!  I wasn't sure if you knew, but they have garage sale sites on Facebook now. You can look them up for your particular city. People will post things, their condition, price and cross streets. You either meet face to face or do what is called a porch pick up. I have sold and bought some awesome things for dollars.  I wish my husband still had his truck, because I have found a ton of baby furniture, strollers, etc.  Fun times!  PS. If you have to buy new Motherhood has some decent prices. I got some tops for like $17/$19.
