Coming out today! - Updated post below!

We are telling families and some friends today. MH thought it was a good idea to send flowers with cute messages like "Congratulations on your promotion!" or "Your west coast family is growing!" but the killer part of this is now all of the waiting for people to GET their flowers and figure out to call us...its kind of killing me. I am not a patient person and am not loving having to rely on random flower shops to get it right. hah! But anyway, it does feel like Christmas today

It ended up being super fun! One by one the calls started coming in, and the cards were cryptic enough but gave it away enough, so our moms and dads were like "does this mean what I think it does?!?" and then we got to reveal it was twins, then everyone went wild! It was tough to wait for the calls, but very fun to get the nervous excited calls from our moms especially!

The best is that my cousin's baby shower was today, and she is having twins as well, and mom got to announce at the end "You have to save your stuff, because your cousin is going to need it all 6 months later!" and everyone went wild to hear TWO of us cousins are expecting twins.  

Very fun. I am SO relieved to be out. Can finally stop sucking it in!

We got an email from my husband's step sister first congratulating us then filling us in about my mother in law calling her crying about some flowers and she had no idea what she was talking about for like 4 minutes because she was so excited. She was wondering "geez, its just flowers" lol lol lol

hah yes - clearly they run in the family! My mom had twin siblings and her mom had TWO sets of twin siblings! Wild. My husband says the girls in our family should come with a warning
