God forbid anyone say my name correctly, Jocelyn. Jok-a-lynn, Joz-a-lyn, Joz-lyn, Josy-lynn, Jess-a-lynn (really?). Meh I have given up. Its pronounced Jos-a-lyn which is how I basically have to break it down to people since Joce is still pronounced Jok by some.
With our daughter we were going to go with Lexie but DH wanted Alexis but as a NN we were going to call her Lexie still. He now spells her NN Lexi. It bugs the shiit out of me but maybe I add the e on the end to be speshul. Oh and when I need to get her attention I do call her by her MN, it works so much better than calling her by her full name.
