Has anyone watched it? I'm still fascinated by the concept of polygamy and wonder if it is interesting or just reality tv like. Any thoughts? I don't share well enough to be game myself, but I do wonder about the dynamics.
I think I am behind a season or two. I would love to live with other women. One cook, one take care of the house, one take care of the kids. Sharing of the husband part? Ain't no way. But I would watch and say they have such a great system set up for the family. Kids always have someone to play with. The other think that got me, they had touched on in an episode, that if someone had ever happened to one of the mothers they knew their kids would not go motherless. Always someone to take care of them.
I've seen it a few times. I love the idea of having other women around to help and the built in support system. But sharing my husband? No way. Ever. The husband on the show creeps me out too!
I LOVE the show. Big Love was my favorite HBO show so when I heard about Sister Wives, I knew we had to watch. I am with Redneck -- I love the idea behind it, I just couldn't share MH.
I'm addicted... Final season?? Boo! And I could never share but It fascinates me
This! It totally fascinates me so SW is my guilty pleasure.
Those of you that watch have you gone onto their jewelry store online? I wonder how that's working for them? I think the stuff is just ugly. Also Merry is selfish and it bugs the hell out of me.

I will be sad if this really is the last season.
Yes!
Loved Big Love. I cried longer than I should have at the end.
However, when I was teaching, I had a child whose dad was African (I'm not sure from which country- he wasn't in my class very long). He had one wife (my student's mom; they had 5 kids together) and another wife (or woman who acted like a wife) with whom he had one child. It was sister-wifey. He spent half the time with one family and half with the other.
ETA: I'm mentioning that he is African since the older brother explained to me about the arrangement and said it was "cultural."
Re: Sister Wives
I watch it, but I thought they were in the off season?
The answer, no I could never do it. Ever.
I wouldn't be suprised, it lost it's "thing" when they moved to Vegas.
I could never do it, I don't share well.
