Hi ladies
I'm a ftm and new to the csection forum. I've been married a little over two years and On July 10 I gave birth to a wonderful baby girl. My vaginal delivery did not go as planned so after laboring, making it to 10cm and pushing for 2 hours, we went for a csection. So I'm introducing myself and hope to support others by sharing my csection experience as well as learn from what you have experienced.
It's only the end of day 2 since my csection and I'm starting to recover. It's difficult to move around, especially getting out of bed but it feels great to waddle around. I know recovery will be slow and thats a huge bummer becuse i was very active but I'm going to concentrate on taking it one day at a time and enjoying my time with our little lady. I'm looking forward to starting to feel like my old self again soon! Please feel free to share your experience with cs and recovery.
Re: Hi ladies
Hi, I am due to have c/s #3 in about 2 weeks. What I would recommend is getting up and walking. I know you may not feel like it but it is really the best thing to do to make your recovery easier. Also, take your meds if you need them, you want to be able to take care of your baby.
These ladies are very helpful so if you need anything just ask.
