How often does your LO's doctor schedule check ups?

Ours were at 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, and then 12 months. I don't know what it will be after a year, but I'm assuming 18 months and then at 24 months.

For DS it was or will be: 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 18 months, 2 years. Then once a year after that.

This. Even though we just have a regular family doc (there are no Pedi's in our area) and they don't usually do 9 month  but I will be taking him in for measurements, etc.

The exact schedule that your doctor puts you on is determined partly but "must have" visits (for shots and such) and partly by any concerns (such as weight gain, length, skills, overall progress). 

This time around, with a family doctor (and us in Canada), he was jaundiced, so we were back at the hospital daily until 4 days.  Then to family doc at 2 weeks, 1 month, 2m, 3 m (weight gain concerns), 4m, 5m (weight gain), 6m.  We will have a weight check at 9m then regular 1 yr appointment with shots.

Ours was: 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 1/2, 3, and then yearly.

Over here (France) our LO sees our family doctor every month up to a year, mostly to chart growth.

Our pedi's office well-child schedule is 2-3 days after discharge, monthly until 6 mo, then every 3 mo until 2 years. After that, yearly.

So far, ours is the same.  Other than sick visits.
