Hello, Beautiful Mommas. Just wanted to introduce myself to you all.
I'm Jacki, a 31-year-old first time momma. I've been married to the love of my life since October 2010.
Right now I'm 11w5d, and my husband and I are total newbs at this pregnancy thing. So far, things have gone mostly well. Except for our NT Scan... my risk came back higher than normal, so my doctor recommended further testing. Right now we are waiting for test results (opted for the Harmony Test) to come back and it is AGONIZING. But, on the ups, part of that test can check for gender, so we don't have to wait for our 20 week u/s. I'll know in 8-12 days. So... that's a neat (and the only) upside of having to take that test.
I was really active on my month board on The Knot (oh man, those were the days!) but not so much on The Nest. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you as we inch closer to our due dates!

Thanks, ladies.
I noticed that a few other women here have taken the same test. (Or the MaterniT test, which is very similar.) I'd be interested in knowing your risk going in/your outcomes!
After our NT scan, things seemed normal, but the bloodwork increased our risk. Doc says its 1/79. So far I'm on Day 2 of the 10-14ish day wait!
