We have tried many my LO does best with the playtex insulators. He doesn't like ones with handles and he doesn't like the softer nipples. We use ones with the harder spouts. We have a few with the straws but he doesn't do good with those unless its water
My DD will only take a straw sippy. We tried a bunch of them before settling on Thinkbaby's "Thinkster" straw cup. It has a softer, very bendy straw that DD chews on every day and it's still in perfect shape... also, we have four of them and not one has leaked, EVER. They're easy to clean and great for milk or other cold things that creep up the straw, as the liquid can't escape (the straw is cross-cut at the end, so it needs a bit of pressure from DD's mouth to open). I don't see them recommended on here very often, I've only ever seen them on Amazon... but they're my personal favorite, hands down!
