no more milk, so sad

after months of BFing struggles with DS, this week he started refusing to nurse or take breast milk in a bottle.  my mind knows switching to formula is the only choice but my heart is so sad about it.  i feel like i cant let it go, and yet i have no choice but to do so - pediatrician agreed. 

just threw out about 100 oz of milk i had stored in the freezer for when i return to work, and have cabbage leaves in my bra.  i'm so sad.

What if you mix the BM with the formula? ?Try it (if you want). ?It will be cheaper and he'd still get some of the benefits of BM. ? Go get that stash...

That happened to me, too. It's really hard. But in the end, the goal is a healthy child, and often that includes breastmilk, but if that means it happens without breastmilk then that's OK too.
