Thoughts? Stereotype it.

We thought we were having a little boy this whole time... Never trust those early scans! Lol. So excited he turned out to be a she though!!!

DH loves Landrie.. It's not 100 that this will be her name yet.

I usually don't like unisex, surname-y names, but Landrie is actually really cute, and I quite enjoy it. I prefer Landrie Madeline, because Mae is a little too country for my taste, especially with this FN.

Stereotype--Landrie is a cute little blond girl, with both girly-girl and tomboy traits--likes pink and frilly dresses, but also roughhousing and sports. She's probably enthusiastic and friendly.

Oh ok... I guess I don't see the "laundry" connection.. Especially with the spelling Landrie. Thanks for the honest input.

Landry is a total GP name for me. I prefer the spelling Landry over Landrie. I don't think I would ever use the name though because everyone thinks of laundry when they see or hear it. I know it is traditionally a boy's name, but personally, I don't see anything masculine about it so I think it could make a cute, spunky, tomboy type name.
Landrie Mae flows much better IMO but I agree that it has a bit of a country feel.

Crap. Now I'm starting to think of "Laundry". Oh well. I'm having such a hard time finding names for this little girl!! I don't want a super popular name just something cute and different.

Again thanks for honest opinions.

DH veto'd Madeline as a first name.. That's why I am considering it as a middle.

If I have to stereotype her she is blond with ringlets as a child. Barefoot a lot. Probably from Arkansas.

I really like both names, but I don't like the spelling. I like Landry a lot better. I just think that when she is older, she would not want a name that sounds so cutesy on her resume. Just my opinion.
