Second u/s today - freaking out (updated)

Damn PAIF brain!!! I have my second u/s today at 2, and I'm completely freaking out. My m/s has been a lot lighter the past few days, my breasts are not nearly as sore as they have been, and I can't help but think that these signs mean something. I know symptoms can come and go, but it just makes me so nervous for today. I'm sure you ladies here understand... I just wish I could turn off that fearful, anxiety-ridden part of my brain for the next 7.5 months or so... maybe then I could actually enjoy being pg.

I'm glad you know that they come and go because that is the truth!  Regardless, I know exactly how you feel.  GL today!!!

Good luck at your u/s.  I think the PAIF brain is always looking for problems.  My symptoms have significantly subsided this week at 9 weeks (barely any nausea or cramping anymore) and I am constantly wondering if baby is still growing, even though my BIL who is a physician says it's normal at this stage.  Hang in there and be happy when you see your little bean this afternoon!  :-)

I know this feeling all too well! I hope you have an incredible u/s though and all your anxiety calms!

I think I was more nervous for my second u/s than my first - I thought for sure we wouldn't see any change from the previous one.  It is so hard to not think the worst all the time - I keep telling myself that whatever happens is out of my control at this point.   FWIW - I am pg with twins and have no m/s at all.  I've only dry heaved a handful of times and it usually involved raw meat when cooking dinner.   I do have extreme exhaustion though.

I know how you feel my first u/s isn't until the 22nd and I can't stop worrying. Good luck on your U/S today keep us updated.

i completely understand.  PAIF brain stinks.  I have it today too.  They should make a special xanax just for pregnant women.

Mine have totally come and gone! I get it, super stressful! I'm sure it's all good though! GL and can't wait to hear how it went!

Today's u/s went GREAT! The baby is measuring a day ahead, and we got to listen to the heartbeat - I melted into tears at that point of course. I have officially graduated from my RE and will have my first OB appointment tomorrow morning!!! I can't believe we've made it this far! 

ETA: Baby is measuring 7w4d and hb was 167bpm!
