SA: I was at my mom's yesterday with Allison and I told her not to let Allison play in the sink. For some reason they do this all the time and when we don't at home Allison has a fit. Well, fast forward about 45 minutes and there my mom is, filling up the sink for Allison to play in. WTF? I know it is a small thing but come on...how hard it is to NOT put the child in the sink?!?!
SA: DH is whining about how he is only getting like 6 hours of sleep at night. I sort of feel bad for him but really don't. I only feel bad that I have to listen to him complain about being tired. But this morning I was really annoyed. Allison has been pretty reliable with her sleep schedule. 10 hours. That is all. So do the math, she goes down at 7:30-8:00. She isn't going to sleep until 7:00 in the morning. Well, I leave at 6:30 and she has been up and babbling away in her crib for over 30 minutes. No problem, she is happy. So I go in to tell DH goodbye and he says he is going to try to keep her in there until 7:00. Ummm...no? Get your out of bed and take care of the baby.
UO: I think summer TV shows are better than most regular shows. I'm currently in love with Whodunnit? and Franklin and Bash is one of my favorites for the last few years.

I'm pretty happy that Zach Morris became a lawyer but can't understand why he changed his name!
I got a little giddy when I saw it on my DVR! I love Franklin & Bash. And I agree, why would Zach Morris change his name? I also really like Melissa & Joey because they are combining Blossom with Sabrina the teenage witch. They even got Joey to say "whoa" in an episode and I watched it like 3 times because I went back to my younger days and my huge crush I had on him!
Haha!! I was just thinking this the other day. I admittedly have HORRIBLE taste in tv, and I absolutely love the trash that is on in the summer. Big Brother, Melissa & Joey, RHWOC, Drop Dead Diva, The Challenge... They're all fabulous!!
SA: Decided to tell my boss today that we are re-locating and I will finish out this year working but will not be returning next year! Whew feels good! And I think it was causing me a lot of internal stress/anxiety and now officially TTGP that's the last thing I need. Great relief!
UO(maybe): I really do love summer but I can't wait to see it go this year, I love fall and cannot wait for Halloween, football, jeans and hoodies. I can't wait to get Kevin his fall wardrobe, shopping for him is one of my favorite things to do!
I just chopped off my hair and LOVE it. Seriously, I got several compliments in the first hour after I got it done and bonus H loves it. He said I look sophisticated and polished now and that's exactly how I feel.
I hate my MIL, but at least my H and I can laugh about it - he hates her too actually. He found a funny e-card pic last night and it was pretty funny and was perfect for her so he text it to me and that made me happy to know he isn't pushing me to be involved or anything and that he himself has let it go and isn't trying to get her to be involved when she clearly doesn't want to be. What a relief.
I'm still waiting to hear back from what could be my dream job and I would be so perfect for it, but it all hinges on whether I hear from them - I seriously rocked both interviews and the woman I interviewed with told me I would be hearing from HR on the next steps...yet nothing yet and that was last Monday. I've sent a follow up email and told them I appreciated meeting with them and the opportunity to interview and I was looking forward to hearing from them soon bla bla bla. And then this Monday I sent an email to the contact I had in HR just as a hi it's me I was curious where I stand in the interview process and wanted to make sure I hadn't missed any correspondence with them and still nothing. I have a feeling they are a bit overwhelmed right now opening a new location, etc. so I'm hoping it works out but really can't someone send an email at least?
I am making the most of my time at home and catching up on stuff I need to do and getting organized, so at least I'm not bored - I have a ton of stuff to do actually, but it's frustrating and I would rather have a job.
We are getting DS #1 a puppy. We have a lab and she's amazing and seriously the best dog we've ever owned - and DS #2 adores her. They are seriously best buddies. And DS #1 said he wants one that is his dog, so we just found out today the woman we got our dog from is having more puppies so she will let us have first choice. I like that they will have the same mom (our first lab and the puppy) and she's amazing so I'm excited. I adore dogs and we've always had at least one so I'm glad we will have this opportunity and that our boys will grow up loving animals.
My best friend is pregnant and I'm hosting her shower but her aunts are co-hosts and I am unable to get in contact with them and I'm a planner by nature so I feel like this is going to be an unorganized mess and I'm hating it. It goes against my nature! Her aunt's computer got a virus and is getting worked on so she can't reply to emails/facebook, etc. because she isn't technological enough to have it on her phone. So it's frustrating!!! I hope if it sucks she knows why - and she will know because she's annoyed that they haven't contacted me, but I hope it's enjoyable and memorable in a good way for her. She had a late term miscarriage the first time and she deserves the best for this - it's been a tough pregnancy but she's so happy to have a baby so the shower won't matter really but I want it to be great for her.
That's all I have for right now. I'm boring but at least I contributed. I don't want this board to die, I want us to keep it going and I'm trying but we need more participation peeps!
SA : AF came today! My first post loss AF, which means I am off the bench and can start TTC again! In terrible news, I tried to post about this on the 212 Facebook group this morning, but accidentally posted it on my regular Facebook page - ugh. I don't normally share AF news or about my miscarriage with everyone on my facebook page! It was only on for a couple of minutes, so hopefully not too many people saw.
SA : I just put Lucia down for a nap, and I am considering a glass of wine while I cook. I am making 2 dinners now (hopefully, if she sleeps long enough), one for tonight and one for tomorrow, and I just think it will be more pleasant to cook with a glass of wine. Even though it's only 2 in the afternoon here...
