childcare in north central area

What a pain. ?We are still on the waiting list for Concordia on 1604/Huebner (I live in the Vineyard and work off of 281 near Bitters). ?I won't be going back to work until mid Feb, but can't find any centers in this area with openings then and nannies won't hold a spot that far out in advance.

Does anyone know of an in-home daycare in that area that that will take an infant starting in February? ?

I wish I could help you out. We live quite close to one another! My neighbor's (on both sides) send their kids to Concordia and love it! I can see how that location would be great for you.

We're still not sure how we're going to handle childcare (I work p/t and Dh has a weird schedule that changes monthly.) However, if I hear of anything, I'll let you know!?

Thanks! ?We are going to try and work something out with my sister's MIL to come and nanny. ?She just stopped being a nanny for Dr. Gonzaba's fam, but was going to take some time off for awhile. ?DH does work from home, so thankfully we can be flexible with the hours.

If we can get that worked out I think it would be easier than to find someone who would hold a spot that will only be temporary anyway until we get into Concordia. ?Wish me luck!?

Edit: Boo. ?She wants to charge $250/wk for her discounted "under the table" rate (she usually charges $450). ?That is a lot not to be able to claim on our taxes! ?So we are still on the lookout to see if we can find something better if anyone hears anything!
