Health and Weight Loss Check In?

First time posting on the new platform, and I am mobile to boot, so pardon any errors.

Anyone interested in a health and weight loss check in on Wednesdays? Since the community check in has kind of died, we don't have anything on Wednesdays. CageyMack started one a while back, but she isn't always on here.

I started back on WW weight loss mode a week ago and lost 5.8 lbs as of this morning, so I am feeling super motivated!

QOTD: How do you reward yourself for
success, progress or good behavior?

I earn a manicure after a good week.

I have not rewarded myself yet, when I hit my goal DP said she would buy me all new clothes! So that is my motivation, I'm not sure she fully grasps what she has promised me....

  • I think this is a great idea, I would like to join too! I know I really need to, although I feel very little motivation so maybe this will help :)

QOTD: Nothing planned yet, but this is a good question.  Maybe after a good week (or maybe two) I will allow myself to buy some craft supplies (I just learned how to knit).
My name is A, I am wife to J.  After 7 months of ttc and one MC, we are expecting two baby girls in 2014!

  • Dr. Afriye Amerson is REALLY great. I've been going to her for years, and love her. she knows how to talk to her patients to make them feel comfortable, and actually takes notes in her chart about personal things so she can be sure to follow up on your honeymoon, husbands health, etc. She's based out of hackensack, and I think is accepting new patients as well since my brother's gf just started seeing her.

  • Thank you. I will see if she is covered by my insurance. I appreciate it because my last ob/gyn did not take my miscarriage serious and wanted to treat it like a period since it was early. He had no consideration for how I felt. He never examined me after too. Good thing I went to my older doc affil with Englewood Hospital. She was wonderful like always and completely understood my concerns. She even is furthering more tests other then just checking for my beta which my old doc was concerned about...A Hackensack doc will be better for me because if I do conceive (hoping to ovulate soon) I would like a doc from Hackensack Hosp. They just got number 1 in the metro area too, which is a plus.
