Can anyone figure out how to get badges to show up?

I found the "signature settings" under the "account options" icon (next to the star it's the little person icon at top right of page).  It let me add the rest of my siggy, but the badges are showing up as links instead of pics. I know someone with more techy knowledge can figure this out!

    I used the "insert image" icon and added the link, and the badge shows up in the edit box, but not here...hmmmm.
