I miss seeing my post count Also, I need to spend some time familiarizing myself with the new layout. Maybe it's because of the newness of everything, but the layout does not look as aesthetically pleasing as the old one. 

Andplusalso- My siggy, like a lot of others is an old one. I checked my profile and siggy and the links/codes there should show my most updated siggy...maybe something got lost in translation with the update?

Yup - I'm fine with it. But I wonder how long it'll take for them to fix the siggies. All the fruit tickers are gone.   It makes me sad.

Hmmm...I did not notice posts missing, but the updates happened while I was sleeping. There is bound to be some glitches here and there. I have not checked out the mobile site-nice that you can post pics though!

Let me preface this by saying that for the most part, I like the changes so far. But there are definitely some quirks going on. That's the thing that always annoys me. I don't like to sort by most recent activity, so I switched my sort to original post date. When I do that, there's a post a few down that made me laugh, because the replies don't go with the original thread:

I noticed that there are actually several of them that have this particular quirk going on. It's going to confuse some people for sure.

I also noticed that we only have 1 hour to edit a post. I forgot an i in the word "it's" and went back to change it. I think that's awesome.

Hopefully, they fix the issue and it can be chalked up to glitches during the update...I would hate for the problem to continue.

I had to search for edit button and fix a comment already too...I do a quick once over before I post, but usually will find my mistake after I post...figures...

I usually see mine as it's uploading after I hit post, haha. I saw the edit wheel right away. It's the same as FB. Even in the same place as FB.

You can see post counts and such if you click on the profiles. Not as easy as just glancing, of course, but if you really want to know you can find out.

Yeah. I liked the post counts because to me it was a way to gage "street cred" of a poster when it came to certain posts. I am not saying that newbies are not as credible as seasoned posters-just that it made spotting MUD a lot easier...now I will just have to put in more detective work, lol.

I'm sure the siggies will be fixed. If they didn't realize when they rolled out the changes, I am certain they realize now.

ETA: There's a way to fix it. I'm going to pull it out of the thread where I saw it and make a new one.

You want to know what I love? When you click on a siggy pic & it shows the user's profile, it's a big picture. You can actually see what's in the pic.

I'm looking at my siggy thumbnail right now, though, and I noticed that it's distorted. I bet there's a way to adjust the "square" that is shown in the thumbnail. Let's see...

Beautiful profile pic...now that I can see it close up. I like that feature too. I think as we play around with all new features and updates, this will end up being a lot better than the old Bump-provided they fix the glitches.

Before I try to drive myself nuts trying to fix it, I am going to wait a bit and see if the Bump fixes this issue.

My signature details show 2 tickers, which is how it should be. Must be a glitch. Only one of my tickers is appearing. So, we'll see how long until it gets fixed, I guess.

How were you able to sort by original post date? I'd prefer this as well!

When you're on the main board (Jan '14 or otherwise), there is a "Sort by" option at the bottom left. You might have to scroll down to get to it. Just change it to "Original Post Date."

I always feel like such a granny when changes are made to a website that I use. Whenever Facebook does an update I call my younger sister and say "how do you kids use this Facebook thing anyway?" I always like the changes after I get used to them but it takes a while!

Here are my thoughts:

I don't have the button peanut mentioned to sort by original post date. The font is fucked up and making it extremely difficult to read. I worked mother fucking hard to get to gold last week. I want my fucking post count and my gold badge.

But I love that I can say fuck. Fuck fuck fuck fuck!

Overall, thumbs down, for now. All of my grievances can be fixed.
