Hey guys I am just I need of some advice or opinions about a situation that has come up with my MIL. She is 67 years old and had her hip replaced 5.5 weeks ago. Me and so are going on vacation and I was expecting lo to stay with my parents because of the recent surgery. BUT my MIL is insisting she is fine to watch my 20 month very active daughter by her self. I'm really concerned because she is not supposed to bend or twist at all. My husband agrees with her and I don know how to talk to her about it. I'm worried she will be seriously injured. What should I do? Tia
BIG NO! All I do is bend and twist with my LO! 5 weeks is too soon. Maybe you can have her ask her doctor what he thinks and this will make it easier for her to accept. Suggest that your mom will bring LO to play but with her there.
I just don't see why anyone would think this is a good idea?!
