Pediatrician recommendations? Mid OC...

I am having a heck of a time finding a pediatrician in my area.  I am looking in the Los Alamitos - Cypress area down to Huntington Beach. I live in Seal Beach and this is as far as I feel comfortable traveling to see a pediatrician with a sick child.  My baby is due in September and he is my first.  Does anyone have any recommendations for a great doctor?

I second Newport children's medical group. My son saw Dr Kornu in Costa Mesa from birth till she switched to working in HB

Kaplan and widelitz have a group in Los Alamitos near the medical center. We like dr Fukami and dr tosu although we haven't tried the other doctors there. Appts are pretty easy to get and they have a separate waiting rooms for sick and well patients which I think is a plus. if you have an urgent need they try to get you in the same day including sat. And they always have a doctor on call to answer questions. Both my four year old and newborn go there.

We go to Pediatric Care Medical Group, Inc. in HB and see Dr. Kristy Tolly. She is great! She has kids of her own and is very understanding and caring. pediatriccare.net.

Dr Meagan Moore in fountain valley at brookhurst and talbert right off the 405. She is part of orange coast ob/gyn. LOVE her. She delivers at orange coast memorial or hoag.
