DTP vaccine reaction?

Anyone's DC have one?

DS had his 2nd MMR and a DTP vaccine yesterday morning at his 18 month appointment. He was totally fine until this evening when he suddenly spiked a fever, was VERY cranky/inconsolable, then lethargic, etc. Motrin knocked it down and cheered him up, and he is now asleep. I am just wondering if this is a reaction, or if he is getting sick.  Would the reaction happen a day and a half later?

DS usually reacts like that to any vaccine. It is usually right away though. I hope he wakes up healthy in the morning!
