Can you please tell me what you all do when you are with your child leaving a fun place?

DS bites DH when DH picks DS up from daycare. DS does not want to leave daycare.

I give minute warnings.  Usually at 5 and 2 minutes before we leave. Sometimes I give him a choice (we can leave now or in 5 minutes) I also tell him where we are going and/or what we are doing next.  

For instance: You have 5 more minutes to play.  Then we need to go home to have lunch.

It usually makes the transition smoother.
