Moving + Sick DS + Work = Insane

We close Thursday and move Friday.  DS spiked a fever and is now at the ped to try to head off whatever this is.  No waiting three days to see this time....please, give him medication. 

I naturally have a crazy week at work and was trying to get by with only taking off Thursday afternoon to sign the docs and Friday afternoon to meet the moving truck.  I am now taking off tomorrow a half day (working at home a half day with a sick baby, oh joy).  I also have to take Monday off because that is when they are installing the fiber optic.  I planned to work, thinking I could work from our old house, but I have to be present for the install (seriously, brain failure).

Add in....DH picked up DS from DC and they were crying because we are moving - so DH called me all choked up.  I grew up where we live now, my parents and sister live within two streets....this move is hard!

DS has an ear infection and tonsilitis.

Shoot me.

I think I will take a sick day tomorrow.

Good Luck - I just did the exact same thing Mon-Wed this week! Moved out on Monday (leave extra time, cleaning afterwards took forever!!) Closed on one house Tuesday, was up til 10 with an ear infection with DD, closed on the new house Wed and immediately moved in. SO glad it is done! Hope the LO feels better soon and hope it all goes smoothly!
