POLL TIME: Is 9:30am on a Saturday too early for a kid's birthday party? Does it need to be 10? It's just always soooooooooo hot for Ben's bday and he wants an outside party, so I want to have it as early as I can get away with.  He's turning four and that's around how old most of the other kids will be, if that makes a difference.  What say you?

If I was going yes.

But then again I told everyone our party started at 2 and no one showed up till at least 4 because I forgot everyone was on Mexican time. 

So maybe if you leave it, people will roll in around 10

SiL had her kids bday party at 10. It was also an outdoor party. 10 just sounds better than 930, even if its just 30 mins...

Depends how far I had to go to get there.  I would totally grumble but as long as the party was local we'd definitely still go.

It will be at his favorite park, so no inside, and no pools or sprinklers.  There is quite a bit of shade, including a shelter with picnic tables.

 I agree that 9:30 sounds weird and is pretty early, but we had his second bday party at 10 and it was pretty hot by the end.  Hhhrrrrmph... I just don't know what to do.  It's too early one way, too hot the other.  My guest will grumble either way.  Yaaayyyy, Sally throws the best parties!

Yeah, for me personally something about 9:30 AM and a party just don't mix. What kind of food are you serving? Are you going to do cake? It seems dangerous to give 4 year olds cake that early haha.

I think it's kind of too early, sorry. My inlaws are like hours late to our parties that start at 2!

My bridal shower was at 11 and it was fine. It was for lunch so they had a nice meal but didnt have to have snack type appetizer foods too.

My siggy is all effed up too. Even mobile is totally different! And nothing appears to be in order?!?

It is going by most recent activity is how it looks. There are options to change it but the way I am looking at it I take it that the thread with the most recent post pops to the top I guess?

Not liking the siggies. I've always had my settings to show bump the most recent posts to the top (new posts look like they're bolded so you can differentiate). I like that it takes you directly to the newest comment in the thread. And I like the notification bar at the top. I'm on my iPad so I'm wondering if it'll look any different on the desktop version.

Mobile looks better at least, but now I can't get to the forums on Full Site mode at all. Every time I click on a subforum, it sends me back to mobile.

Click on the preferences icon (little man) in the upper right. Under your name there is a Signature Setting or something like that.

Top right corner should say my account. If not you can click your name in the thread and it should take you to your account as well.
