  • Hi ladies!  Appointment at 3 to check my cervical length, I'm expecting a clean bill of health....we'll see.

Favorite Food- watermelon too!  I could serious eat a whole one by myself weekly.  Burritos too which equals heartburn!  Sometimes it's worth it.

Still doing good here.  Had an appointment and ultrasound this morning.  They had wanted to follow up because one of his kidney's seemed a little large at the A/S, but today it was perfectly normal and healthy.  Yeah!

Q1- Congrats & good luck in 3rd tri!  Can't wait to see you there.

    Q2- Anything citrus-y.  Or spicy.

Q3- Pic below.  It's a hand-me-down that DH's brother has been saving for us...for the last 9 years.  Yes, it is a drop-side crib.  Yes, we are negligent parents.  But we're going to put some screws in the side to immobilize it.  And it was free.  Judge away.  I just finished the trees this weekend- we're doing a Dr. Seuss/Lorax theme.  Super excited about that part!  I've never uploaded a pic before...let's see if this works!

  • When do we move to 3rd Tri again? Is it 27 or 28 weeks?

I went to the orthopedic last Friday for my carpel tunnel and got a cortisone shot in both wrists, plus braces to sleep in.  The pain is gone, I can move my fingers in the morning, however, my fingers are still tingly/numb.  Debating if I should call or not since they dont "hurt" anymore.

I don't really have a favorite food at the moment, but I've been enjoying some yummy nectarines :)

No crib yet....we're going to look again tonight :)

  • Baby Girls echo went pretty good last week, but she would not stay still for more than 30 seconds at a time, so the Dr had a hard time getting all of the scans that she needed. Baby Boys echo is a week from Thursday, so hopefully he will be better behaved. Next OB appt and GD test are scheduled for Aug 1st. I am seeing a chiropractor tomorrow evening for the first time due to major back pain the past few weeks.

QOTW1:  Lime sorbet & lime popsicles, cucumbers with ranch dressing & Oreos with milk.

QOTW2: I don't have a photo of our cribs yet, but DH and I are going to pick them up tonight (getting them from a co-worker that has 2 year old twins and no longer needs them, along with a changing table and armoire).

  • Hi ladies!

Not much new, anatomy scan in a couple of weeks, I'm getting nervous about that because it's right around our loss date from first pregnancy.

Also I feel like a beached whale. If one more person asks 'are you sure you're not having twins?' I may punch them.

Favorite food: pineapple is way up there. can't get enough!

No crib yet - I've got some favorites picked out online but just can't decide.

  • I am currently 17w5d, and I have my next MFM appointment at 18 weeks -- anatomy scan, twin to twin transfusion check, and to check my cervix length.  I haven't had the same painful contraction-like cramps, so I'm hoping my cervix has held steady. Not gonna lie -- I'm really nervous right now.

Q1: Next week I will be moving over to 3rd Tri, does anyone want to take over?
Congrats on 3rd tri!  If you don't get any other offers, I could help out.
Q2: What is your fav food at the moment?
Healthy -- summer fruits like nectarines and cherries.  Unhealthy -- salty french fries.  :)
Q3: If you have a crib pip please?
No crib yet, but with two to purchase, we're trying to keep the price low, so I've been looking at some of the Graco cribs, which are well reviewed in Baby Bargains:
Married 8/2008. IVF with PGD March 2013.
    3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
    3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!
PPROM at 31w, delivery at 32 weeks of two beautiful girls

  • Q1: Next week I will be moving over to 3rd Tri, does anyone want to take over? I'm halfway thru 2nd tri so I don't think I am the best taker.

Q2: What is your fav food at the moment? Chips. Unfortuantly.
Q3: If you have a crib pip please? Trying to figure that out. The crib we used for DD was recalled (drop side)

  • Hello! I'm currently 15 weeks. I had a checkup today, but no u/s since I had one two weeks ago with the MFM, so it was fairly boring. Next appointment is 4 weeks away with the MFM. This is the longest I've gone without an u/s, so it makes me nervous.

    1. I would take over, but I haven't been active enough on here to be a good fit...but congrats on moving to the 3rd tri!!

    2. French fries. Absolutely nothing healthy, which is terrible. Occasionally, I crave a salad.

    3. No cribs yet. Still too nervous too look into any baby gear.

TTC #3 (#1 for DH) since September 2011. DX: Unexplained infertility with possible cervical factor. May 2012 did clomid with IUI - BFN August 2012 IUI #2 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN September 2012 IUI #3 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN October 2012 IUI #4 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN November/December 2012 IVF/ICSI #1 Retrieved 12 eggs, 8 fertilized. Transferred 1 beautiful embryo and 5 made it to freeze. Got my BFP! January 2013 u/s showed empty gestational sac. FET cycle April 2013.  Transferred 2 5 day embryos.  BFP!!!!!  2 heartbeats!!!!  EDD:  12/27/13
  • Update: had my follow up ultrasound today and baby girls heart looks great! Also passed my glucose test today which was good news too. The only part of bad news was that my doctor is testing me for pre-e. Had high blood pressure today and that, coupled with my swelling feet was enough to warrant a test apparently. Have to do a 24hr urine catch and they drew blood, which apparently came back negative since I didn't hear back. Not too stressed, feel confident that it's not pre-e and just normal symptoms.

Q2: favorite food right now is pizza rolls and Mexican.

Q3: picked out a Sheffield crib, let me see if this works....

  • We had our anatomy scan yesterday and everything was looking good!  The u/s tech was pretty sure it is a girl! We will be doing our "silly string" reveal to family tonight at dinner.

Right now I am really craving soft serve ice cream!

We haven't quite picked out a crib yet, we are still narrowing it down!
