Every time I come back from vacation I come back to my office and someone has changed something or whatever...it is the most frustrating thing in the world! Last time my blinds were changed, and things moved...today my computer was placed differently and papers moved.  I really hate that.

Not sure if I'll have an office at my new job...but cube or office, I really hope people will respect my space.

Despite the fact that I have an inbox on my desk closest corner to the door, people in my office like walk past it and around my desk to use my CHAIR to put papers in.  So much fun to get back into the office and find a stack of paperwork where I want to sit!  One of these days I'm going to leave a sign on it when I go out of town that says "This is NOT my inbox."

Haha!  People do this to me too!

We have this same problem in our office.. People from remote offices will take over your desk while you're out, decide to borrow a mouse (sometimes they even return it!), etc. PITA.

There's no sense of ownership with office space where I work - we're super crammed for space, so not even our director gets to exclude squatters from her office when she's out. We have designated "hosteling" desks, but they're not enough and if you're out for training, official travel, or vacation - your cube is up for grabs. The company's gotta use their resources as efficiently as they can.
