Moby follow up - success!

I took all of your suggestions, thank you!  Once both kids were fed and changed this morning, I popped the little one in the Moby and took the girls for a short walk/bike ride around the neighborhood.  I figured I just need to do it - get out with both of them and figure it out!

DD1 was so excited to get out of the house with mommy, and DD2 went right to sleep as soon as we started moving along. And mommy got to enjoy her coffee in relative peace.  Movement with her in the wrap seems to be the key.

I'm still going to try the Ergo with a rolled up blanket for trips to the store (I'm not seeing myself wrestling in an out of the long wrap in the parking lot in 90+ degree weather!), but it looks like the wrap is going to be great for doing chores around the house and taking walks in the neighborhood.

Here are a couple pics for fun :)

Yay! If you don't want to mess with the wrap in a parking lot (I'm assuming you mean the actual wrapping part), wrap before you leave the house, get to your destination, pop the baby in and go about your business.

Great idea!  You ladies are the best.  I promise I'm not a moron, and I would think of these things on my own if I was getting more sleep :)

  • DOH!  I would always just do it in the parking lot with the back door open entertaining the kids.  The tail ends ALWAYS ended up on the dirty black top, but I figured it was par for the course.  Clearly, I'm the smart one!! ;P

I love the PIP!!  It looks like a great little trip outside!!

Yes! I always wrap in the morning then pop the baby in throughout the day. Silly looking but works.
