I've heard some people say that birth control lowers your milk supply. Even the mini pill ad the progestin only pills.

Anyone have any experience with this!?

I am on the mini pill and it didn't seem to affect my supply.  I think for some people, it can lower the supply, but for most it doesn't.

I think it just depends on the individual. I have heard some women have no problems, but others have had to stop taking it.

I was on it for a month didn't see a dip in supply. Was having headaches so I stopped taking it.....thinking they were caused by pill but I'm still having them so I guess I will start back on pill.

I heard it can affect it too.  My midwife only gave me the mini pill option since I'm breastfeeding and I chose to go without for now.  I have no interest trying to remember to take a pill at the same time every day.  We'll just go with good old fashioned condoms for now.
