Bare with me, this is long...
I have irregular and longish cycles. May 1723 was my last period. My next projected period was supposed to be June 23ish. That's with a 37 day cycle my average which makes me 17 days late today. The longest cycle I've ever had was 44 days last December 2012. Today is day 54 of my cycle. My hubby is gone a lot so if we conceived I know the exact day June 21. Btw, I was tested for PCOS years ago and had no signs.
However, 3 days ago, while hubby and I were having sex, I suddenly got this horrible pain in my stomach and groin. We had to stop. I was cramping and hurting so bad I wanted to cry. The next morning my nipples were really sensitive and painful and the pain in my stomach/groin area was still consistent. Today is much better. Just a faint pain deep inside when I walk fast, push on my stomach or pelvis, or overeat. Aside from this weekend's weird pains and AF's lack of punctuality, I've had no pregnancy symptoms.
Since my period was later than ever, I took a test but received a BFN one week ago today used First Response and only took 1. Should I take another? The first test would have been taken 11 days after possible conception. Is that way too early? Today would be 16 days after possible conception.
Can someone please help me figure out what is going on?! Should I test again now or wait? And does anyone have any insight into my bizarre pains from over the holiday weekend?
Don't know if this matters but...
I am 27, healthy weight, no health concerns aside from hypoglycemia.
Thanks in advance!!!!
Re: When to test again?! PLEASE HELP!!
Yes, take another test. HPTs are nothing to be afraid of, despite everyone's hesitance to take another. If you want, go to the Dollar Store and pick up some cheapies.
11dpo may have been too early. 16dpo should give you a more definitive result.
The pain may be anything, likely nothing. Our bodies are weird.
No worries, you can still use them. If you get to Day 60, call your doc and they can restart your cycle for you
Thanks everyone for your help!!!
